WHY I DO THIS

Sometimes I believe I think too much, pondering the many themes I witness throughout the day, processing the emotions that follow. It can be a burden but I always tell myself, "If I am not thinking of all this and trying to do something about them or bring light to them, then no one is."

As a first generation born Dominican American, there are many stigmas to break and boundaries to cross. I hope to one day inspire all who view my collection to create and tell their story the way they see, to bring awareness to others of the tumultuous currents that take place around them and in their minds.
