Tripping into earning a Bachelor of Arts degree at Buffalo State College, I found a new way to communicate with my hands and how to transfer what I've learned and experienced from my mind, to my hands, to a medium. No longer would I subject myself to the ingestion and regurgitation of information that traditional courses seemed to place upon me. I began to understand the connection one has to the community, peers, and world through the voice one has in art. Being 1st generation Dominican-American born and raised in Buffalo, a unique voice is being forged, always undergoing transmutations. And it's through this voice in this medium of clay I aim to assist you, the audience, in understanding me and how I see this world and perhaps assisting you in seeing the world and yourself in a new perspective.
